When I use the TV late at night, my wife complains about the noise. Thus, I was thinking of getting a headset that is either wired or wireless which I could connect to the TV and listen without bothering her. The price of headsets can be pretty pricey though, and then I thought to myself I wish I could just use my ipod headphones. However, since the cord is too short to connect from the tv to where I am sitting, I decided to search for an extension cord. This particular cord works really well, and is plenty long; so long in fact that I still wrap part of it so the wire isn't just loose all over the place. The sound quality is good and the sounds coming from my ipod headphones are similar to what I would hear if I use the ipod itself. Not sure how it would handle for a more expensive headset, but for the price it is good quality and very functional.
