It was mentioned once in one of the earliest reviews, but bears reiterating: This adapter WILL let you use both PS2 and PS1 pads on your Windows PC (doesn't seem to work with OSX, but who cares; if you're on a mac then you're not playing games anyway). Works perfect for PS3. I had destroyed at least two PS3 controllers costing $55.00 each. I can buy used PS2 controllers for $15.00 or less and get the same gameplay. I do believe the quality of PS3 controllers are below par compare to PS2. I'm on to you SONY!!!! But, really, wireless is great but not a requirement for the games I play. A whole lot better then spending 50 bucks on a new ps3 controller because the ps2 controller works well on most ps3 games. Now I can play my friends without dishing out much cash at all. Just can't use 6-axis obviously. Also some games might not let you use the ps2's L2 and R2 buttons because the pressure sensitivity may be different, but I've only experienced that on one game so far.Customer Review: Works for NBA 2K10

I purchased this adapter because I have 4 PS2 controllers and it makes no sense to purchase more PS3 controllers. I bought one of these to test out and it worked very well. The response was good and all the buttons responded. I'm a sports gamer, so I'll be purchasing more of these in the future for the rest of my PS2 controllers.Customer Review: Good stuff!

Good for PS3. I will also say that this thing is great if you have an analog PS2 controller because hitting the analog button turns off the R AND L3 analog buttons. Good for fighting games if your using the D-pad all the time because you never have to worry about not grazing it. Most other adaptors brings up the home menu.
