Well, I bought this to charge my Creative ZEN Vision:M in the car. I never listen to CDs or the stereo in the car, I just plug my ZEN into my car stereo via a 3.5mm headphone jack wired into the stereos auxiliary inputs, and pump the jams...
Alright, this thing costs a penny. A PENNY. I honestly didn't expect to receive anything, at all. Or if I did, I thought for sure it would be broken upon arrival. It wasn't, it arrived super-fast in working order. The fuse did break after a few days...I guess it was just a cheap fuse. I replaced it with a Buss brand fuse of the same type/power, 5 pack for like 2 bucks at ChainMart, and it works great again.
I don't think it would work with any MP3 player that requires an interface, like an iPod. I'm sure there are others, but iPods are the only I know for sure require an interface before they'll charge. I thought my ZEN did, but I guess not because it charges it. Anything you might need to use on the road and can be charged with a USB input, this charger works.
As far as features, it's got a red LED that lights up when you plug it in. Sure, it's big and bulky and you could pay way more for a unit that fits entirely into the cigarette lighter plug, but this one works and it costs $0.01! A PENNY! Ok, you pay for shipping, and probably a new fuse...still cheaper.
