I bought 12 of these as funny Christmas gifts for friends. I put batteries in these little boxes so my friends could use them right away and I witnessed 12 of these erratically light up... some people where totally sober being told they were drunk and other people who had been drinking and had lost proper use of the English language got a reading of sober. I would not bother with this even if they are being handed out for free. It's too frustrating to try to get it to work.Customer Review: doesn't work properly

I bought this for a friend's birthday as a gag gift and it was incredibly disappointing. Obviously you can't expect that much from such a cheap device, but still, its lack of instructions and inability to register anything outside of pure vodka was, again, disappointing. Not worth paying any amount of money for. If you are truly interested in purchasing some sort of BAC analyzer/breathalyzer that is actually useful, you'll need to be willing to spend a lot more money.Customer Review: You get what you pay for
