When I purchased a Nuvi 760 this item was shown as frequently purchased with it. Unfortunately it is not compatable and cost me to return as it was my error. Power connections were not visable so how is a person to know if the adapter will work with the GPS? Guess you learn the hard way.Customer Review: Excellent Charger

I bought this charger, because my other Charger I had for my nuvi 205W stopped working . Excellent power cable. I had to replace the one that came with the Nuvi because the tip of the cigarette lighter plug unthreaded and fell out on a vacation. This is a Garmin-branded charger, not a generic one. A small price premium for this product is worth it over a generic charger that may or may not work. Clearly this charger worked without a problem since it was designed by the same company that developed my GPS unit.
