If you purchase an eTrex, make sure to get this carry case with it. It protects your GPS from scratches and it adds a belt strap. When hiking, or walking the belt strap is very useful.I have not noticed any signal degradation when using the carry case. The Yellow eTrex still locks on and maintains its lock on the satellites with ease.

At first I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but now that I've gotten used to it, I think it's great for on the trail. I typically only use it when I hit the trail, and feel that it does offer some pretty good protection for the device, Especially the screen which is the most vulnerable to scratches and other damage when used ruggedly.Customer Review: I'll Make The Case For This Case!

I'm an avid inline skater and I use a Garmin eTrex Venture to determine distance, speed, etc. The belt clip on this case allows me to clip the unit onto my left elbow pad strap. The clip holds very securely and the case itself does an excellent job of protecting the Venture during those unfortunate, but thankfully rare, falls.Customer Review: northern tier play toy

i bought this play toy to begin geocashing and to track route on scouting northern tier trip. did a trial run on charter fishing trip setting it to take reading every 1/4 mile. it did well. also programed in route to beach house and it did well. even did my first geocashe site. have gotten better as i learn features.

I am just beginning to use my Garmin GPS for geo-caching and really needed something I could use to carry it in. This carrying case fit mine perfectly and is snug so it is not sliding out of place and all the buttons are able to be accessed. It is made very well and looks like it will last a long time. I am very pleased.
