The Garmin Carry Case is a nice addition to the eTrex GPS. The case is well made and covers most of the unit with its protective material. The buttons on both sides of the GPS are exposed and easy to access and the click stick is also exposed and easy to access (contrary to another reviewer's comments). There is a belt clip and metal loop on the back to help fasten the unit however you want. Overall, if you're like me and prefer to keep your toys clean and unscratched, the Garmin Carry Case is for you.Customer Review: Great!

Although Garmin's eTrex line appears to be nearly indestructible, this case provides that extra measure of confidence when packing your GPS into the wild. It is obviously very well assembled and complements any eTrex unit nicely. The best feature is the protective screen that prevents the actual screen from scratches and marks. To me, this case is really the only option for the eTrex series, since you have full access to all of the unit's functions without removing it from the case.Customer Review: Regardless of other reviews, this is a winner

I received the case yesterday and took it on a hike in pretty heavy woods today. I got fine reception. And you can manipulate the controls OK. Screen covered by plastic to protect but that was not a problem.
FYI- I ordered from Amazon and used their free shipping option. They bluffed and said 7 to 9 days. I said OK. I actually recieved the order by UPS in 23, yes 23 hours, after placing order!

I found no issues with this product. It fits the Garmin snug and perfect. It's also a good shock absorber in case it's dropped or falls. There is a ring on the back clip that lets you attach the hand strap to the case instead of the Garmin unit itself making it much easier to take the case off and put back on. I purchased this case for my Garmin Venture Cx. The GPS unit fits perfectly. I have easy access to all buttons and even the lanyard loop is exposed. My only complaint is that I have to open the top velcro strap in order to access the data port. Not sure how to improve on the design for this, so no stars taken away. The belt clip is great, especially while geocaching!
