Tough to install so that the device is picked up, but all speed sensors have the same difficulty. It worked like a charm after installed. Also, one neat feature was that it has indicator lights to let you know when you have it installed correctly which saves you a lot of spinning of the wheels while someone else watches to see if the garmin device is picking it up.Customer Review: Works as expected.

This cadence sensor works as expected. It sync'd to my 305 without any issues, and now works wonderfully on my rides. I get speed from the GPS, HR from the strap and cadence from this cadence sensor. Love the wireless aspect. I mount my 305 to a polar watch mount which seems to work better than the garmin one. Works great, simple to install. Only problem is that the unit had a VERY weak battery which caused me to think the unit was bad while trying to set it up/calibrate it with my Garmin. I finaly realized that the indicater lights were in fact coming on, just VERY weakly, so I swapped for a new battery and all was well. The cadence sensor has kicked up my cycling time tenfold. I love being able to track the distance, the speed, the calorie burn--and "race" myself for future rides. The only downside was getting the thing to stay on--I finally threw out the zipties it came with and taped it on with electrical tape! What a great training tool! I did not have a computer for my bike, but have been using my Garmin Forerunner 305 while running for some time now. I decided to purchase the cadence sensor, and am glad I did, what a great training tool and it has helped me improve my riding significantly. Highly recommended if you are serious about riding.
