Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Garmin GSC 10 Speed/Cadence Bike Sensor

Customer Review: Install easy with a little help
Summary: 5 Stars

The unit moved a little after a few hundred miles of vibration. I reinstalled it with double stick tape under it and so far so good. Great care must be taken when doing this as once it sticks, it is stuck. So I was glad to try it out first to check it out, and then mark its location on the bike and carefully reinstall it with the tape. As has been said before the lights cannot be seen in the daylight, so move the bike in the garage to check the cadence.
I lost the magnet too but the local bike shop to the rescue.

Customer Review: A Great Addition for the ForeRunner
Summary: 5 Stars

This Unit is the perfect addition for me as it extends my Forerunner 305 to my bike giving me all the speed and cadence data I need.
Also of importance is that it mounts to the REAR of the bike, so the rear wheel provides the speed input (not the front like most bike computers) - this means it is PERFECT for indoor trainer riding and my Garmin can pick up mileage, speed and distance from the back wheel while my bike is hooked up to the indoor trainer. Of course it works h=just fine on the road too.

Customer Review: Low cost, works good
Summary: 5 Stars

Easy to install on the bike and easy to adjust. I was a little worried I might hit it with my heel since it mounts to the rear wheel, but haven't had any issues and I've been using it for a couple of weeks.

GREAT ADVANTAGE - can use it on outdoor rides or indoors on a trainer since it mounts to rear wheel. No repositioning required.

I had minor problems syncing it to my Forerunner 50 - but mostly when I'm transitioning from a run. Overall, great tool for the low price.

Customer Review: Top notch: Does what it says perfectly!
Summary: 5 Stars

This product simply does what it says it does, and it does it without a glitch.
I have used it now for over 1000 miles, having gone through tough terrains and weather, and it has survived every time, without downtime.
Only comment I have, and also applies to the rest of speed/cadence sensors, is that they should figure out a system where it can be easily removed and installed on other bicycles, instead of the current plastic, one time use, plastic straps.

Customer Review: Easy set up, works like a charm
Summary: 5 Stars

If you want candence into for your rides, this simple to install device is the ticket. It takes about ten minutes to install and sync with your Garmin. (I think any ANT+ equiped wireless device will read data from this thing, but I haven't verified this.) Its inexpensive and works well. I've installed it on both my bikes.

I am very happy with this product and am glad to have the cadence data to help with my gear selections.
