Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Garmin Forerunner Quick Release KitCustomer Review: Perfect to turn your Garmin Forerunner 305 into a bike computer Summary: 5 Stars
This was an excellent purchase, glad I made it, though I was a little hesitant at first. Lets you attach your Garmin Forerunner 305 to your bike securely, and provides a new wrist band (velcro) for when you run/hike. I purchased this and the cadence sensor, and now I use this for my bike computer as well as running. Top notch combo to increase your training effectiveness. Good luck!
Customer Review: Easy to install Summary: 5 Stars
I'm an Ironman trainee and transitions from bike to run are very often. Installing the sensor was very easy. If you have a mistake installing the plastic retainers, you can use the "screwdriver" to open it and correct the installation. Removing the Garmin from the bike position and clip it to my armband is due in 2 seconds, so you just have to add 1 second to your transition time.
Customer Review: must have for 205/305 users Summary: 5 Stars
not much to say. it just works. I've logged about 500 miles running and maybe 100 miles mountain biking. secure and easy. transitions from wrist to bike take about 3 seconds. comfortable on my wrist. like the title says, if you're ordering a 205 or 305, you gotta have this cheap add-on. after using it for over a year I'd gladly pay 2-3 times what this goes for on amazon.
Customer Review: Does what it is supposed to Summary: 5 Stars
This does what it is supposed to and does it well. Keeps my Garmin 305 in place and free from movement on my mountain bike (through trails and over jumps), and performs just as well on my road bike.
The wrist strap makes the Garmin 305 feel a little bigger that it is, but a small "price" to pay to have the versatility of using while I run, and on 2 different bikes.
Customer Review: Excellent Item - Does what it is supposed Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased the item 6 months ago, and I love it. It is not very high tech but it does what it should. It took me about 5 minutes to install on my bike and another 5 to remove the Garmin strap from my forerunner 305.
It now allows me to easily switch the 305 from my bike to my wrist.
If you run and bike, I would definitely recommend this product.
