I have been thrilled with my Forerunner, and use it on every run--"Dog ate the strap" so this option came up and I am glad I purchased it as it is much more comfortable and I like the "quick release".

I have had a Garmin ForeRunner 305 for two years now - it's been such an awesome training tool for half-marathons and other runs. I also have recently started doing triathlons and road bike races. I had previously been wearing my forerunner on my wrist, but am excited to now have it mounted on the handle bars. The mounting process was easy and like other reviewers, I like the new velcro strap. I bought this quick release kit for use with mountain biking duathlons. The price is incredibly reasonable, install took about five minutes and it works great. The replacement watch strap is more comfortable than the original one that came with my 305. The bike mount works fantastic and the 305 stayed clipped in even after a crash. Highly recommend this product for mountain biking, marathon training, or duathlons.Customer Review: Great Product

I bought this to go with my Forerunner 305 to track my training on both bike and runs. Easy to install (both wrist band and bike mount) and works well in both modes. Much easier to read my 305 when mounted on the bike. I actually prefer the Velcro wrist band over the watch band as is easier to get on/off from the swim to bike and bike to run transitions in triathlons where every second counts. The quick release kit lives up to the expectations set in other reviews, however I discovered that the Velcro watch strap can also serve as a reasonable mount for hotel exercise machines. I don't like wearing large bulky watches and was thus quite pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the strap tightens enough to stay in place on the handle bars of stationary bikes and the grab bar of hotel treadmills.
