I've had for one week, and I'm thrilled!! I just wanted distance, pace, and heart rate, and it gives me all of these, plus more! Also, when I get home from my run, it makes nice fancy graphs and records all of my information while I recover!! Its my own little robot :) This price is a STEAL compared to any other vendor. I chose this over a Nike + Sportsband, and the two don't truly compare. Its easy enough for a first time runner, but good enough for one who plans to run for a long, long time!!Customer Review: Great product and great Garmin customer service!

I bought this Garmin Forerunner 50 set that comes with a foot pod and a heart rate monitor.
Few months ago, the USB driver wasn't retrieving the data from the watch, so I contacted the Garmin customer support. I received a prompt reply and my problem was resolved.
I like Forerunner 50 best because it is much lighter than other Garmin Forerunner watches that come with a GPS. Moreover, you can track your runs for free on [...], so there is no need for a GPS device.

Purchased the Garmin Foreunner 50 a month or so ago and have used it daily since. It does everything it's supposed to with no problems at all. I particularly like the foot pod feature as I run on a treadmill a good bit and the GPS watches are of no use there. Additionally, it's not so big that it looks silly to wear as an everyday watch. The wireless download to the PC works flawlessly as well. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.Customer Review: Keeps your workout data on track, no GPS

Simple and fairly easy to use. Downloads to Garmin's Training Center and allows you to track more data than you need. Foot pod works from the box, but works better if you take the time to dial it in, calibrate it. If you want to, you can get a pod for your bike and use one tool to track running/walking and biking. If you need a training watch that measures heart rate, distance, pace, calories, and is inexpensive this is it. The chest strap and foot pod come pre-synched and work great right out of the box. The foot pod's measurement was right on with my car's odometer during my first 8.5 mile run. The watch is easy to use and looks like a watch. A solid 5 stars, way to go Garmin!
