Like others, I hate having to remove the case to access the USB Port, but this case has saved my 60Csx from damage twice. Once, I dropped it down a 60 foot cliff and it rolled harmlessly to a stop - no damage. Next, while ascending a steep trail with the GPS in my right hand and safety strap around my wrist, I lost my balance for a split second and grabbed a large sharp boulder for support. This resulted in a deep scratch about 3 inches long right on the face of the unit. I was really upset and thought for sure the glass screen itself must also be scratched. I removed the cover and to my surprise, the face was intact - not a single blemish. Needless to say this little mishap cost me $20 - for a new case. Get It!Customer Review: Works for my purpose

Bought this to keep the dust off and to provide a slight cushion when I strap it to my kite buggy on the dry lake bed. Put 160 miles on the buggy with the GPS and case; The only dusty part was the exposed parts. Washed the case in cold water, good as new. Wiped off the gps, good as new.
The hard usage of the jogger button is from the friction of the button and the clear plastic. I hope that they will eventually slide more easily. I'm considering a little 600 grit sandpaper on that portion of the clear plastic.
Yes, access to all ports on the back is blocked. A case with access to all the ports would be like swiss cheese, full of holes. Not really a big deal.

I bought this carry case for the Garmin 60 Cx, it is a "must have" item if you plan to do anything with your handheld GPS OTHER than mounting it to the dashboard of your vehicle. I carry my GPS in my coat pocket, so the screen would eventually get scratched up without this carry case. The only complaint that I have with this carry case is the fact that you can NOT hook your GPS unit up to your PC via the USB port without first removing the carry case. This is only a MINOR default!! The $20.00 investment is much cheaper than a new GPS when your screen gets scratched up so badly that you can no longer pick-up the fine details on the screen.Customer Review: Very Economical and Protective!!

When I bought my Garmin Map 60 GPS unit, I also purchased this fitted protective case. I am grateful to have it on my Garmin considering it has protected it from briar scratches while bushwacking, and dings while climbing over rocky areas while geocaching! The tight fit enables you to work all the buttons with ease. The only reason why I didn't rate it a "5" is because due it's sleek tight fit, it is a pain in the butt for me to slip it off to get to the plug for the USB wire to download GPS geocaching waypoints from the internet. Otherwise this is an outstanding case for the money, and I highly recommend it with the Map unit it fits!Customer Review: It works

Build quality is ok, similar in appearance and materials to what I have for my etrex legend. The plastic over the buttons is a little annoying, would have rather seen a cut out design around them. Where the etrex case comes with a belt clip built into the case, the 60Cx already comes with one built into the unit (it's removeable), so the case just has a cut out to allow it to work. Like other reviewers have said though, if you are already spending this much on the GPS unit, spend the $20 and protect it with the case.
