I bought this case for my Garmin 60csx with the primary intention of keeping it protected. It does that very well. Nice snug fit, feels really good in your hand. Of course, the 4-way rocker button in the center is going to feel a little different in use because you're moving it through a piece of clear plastic, but if that's the "price" I have to pay to protect my expensive unit, so be it. Build quality is absolutely first rate. I am very happy with this case and have no reservations in recommending it to any Garmin 60 owner.Customer Review: It fits

I bought this case for my GPSMAP 60CSx and it fits just right. It allows you to still use the lanyard and belt clip. The buttons are a little harder to push through the plastic front cover but that also means the cover is more durable against wear and tear on the trail. Since I bought it to protect the GPS I will give up a little ease of use - I can always take it off to program something in then put it back on when I'm ready to go.Customer Review: Garmin Protective GPS Case for GPSMap 60C / 60CS

I bought this case for my Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSX and it fits perfect! Some reviewers indicated a problem with pressing the buttons on the face of the 60 CSX, due to the see-thru cover over the buttons, however, I haven't found this to be a problem. The case is black and well made in typical Garmin fashion. It will definitely protect my $400 GPS, from scratches and falls. This case is perfect!
I was a bit worried when I ordered it with my 60CSx as some had mentioned that it interfers with the use of the buttons. Don't worry it does not affect the use of buttons in the least (for me). Its a perfect fit, the antenna, belt clip button, Lanyards/Strap all have cutouts that are exact.
What more can I say, it works great and is a perfect design!

This case may extend the useful life of your Garmin 60CSx (60Cx), on which the industry is unlikely to improve in the foreseeable future.
I didn't find pressing the buttons considerably more difficult.
Condensation may seriously reduce screen visibility. You may need to squeeze the plastic to read it. Spreading a small amount of camp soap as an anti-fog agent actually helped.
