I have bought several of these cases along with lesser cases in the past few months. I tried them all and have decided that this is the best case for the job. It fits the Garmin Nuvi 780 like a glove very snugly and has a small pocket in the side for whatever you would like to slide in there. I put an SD card in there on one occasion and tickets to an event I was attending on another day. I am critical of flaws in products that I buy and give this item the best rating because it is. This case is exactly what I thought it would be. I basically use it as a scratch protector. It's not cushioned, so don't expect to be able to drop your Nuvi and be protected from breaking. It's a snug case and as one reviewer noted, it may turn on your unit as you slide it in or out. Not a big deal for me, but be careful and observant. Anytime my Nuvi isn't in use, it's in this case. Good case for the price (it was around $10 when I bought it, but honestly, I'd pay $15 for it - any price higher than that and I'd expect cushioning).Customer Review: Must have accesory

IMO this item is definitely a must have item if you use your GPS in multiple vehicles like I do. Considering the price point of the typical Garmin device this little pouch should be included with the original purchase. I guess it's just another way for them to eek a few more dollars out of the consumer. And it is really just a pouch, nothing fancy, but it does the job fine enough. I would like to see other options, such as a larger, actual case, that would fit the power cord and one of the friction dash mounts, as well.Customer Review: Garmin 4.3" Carrying Case

Although I don't store my Garmin unit in my glove box very often, it's nice to know that the unit is comfortably contained and secured inside the Garmin 4.3" carrying case. Similar to protecting a cellphone from damage, this particular carrying case provides that same type of protection. The Garmin fits securely inside the pocket of the case and is easily inserted and removed when necessary. The Garmin 4.3 inch carrying case is really a top quality product. I was worried that is was a cheap made, but when it arrived I was surprised to see a well made little case. I like the case overall, although I wish I purchased a zipper closure case. You see I carry my GPS around for travel and take it in and out of my brief case. With one end open, I am concerned that my GPS unit will get scratched. However, for someone who just wants to protection from the car to their house this product is really nice.
