My Garmin c580 charger was broken because friend of mine lost fuse and tip. I used this charger's tip and fuse. Screw thing slightly different as other reviewer says but it works.
This way I saved my MSN receiver. I have been using for just 2 days now.

I looked at Garmin's web site for this product first. The descriptions were to vague for me to make an order. This sellers description was spot on and the price was very reasonable. I use this cable on a daily basis and I am very pleased with my purchase.Customer Review: great but a little pricey

works great but is a little pricey. No third party people making anything.
It would be nice if someone would make a unit that can be hard wired into a car without using the plug in. The plug in has a transformer in it so you can't just cut it off.

The adapter was perfect for my Garmin (which I thought was the culprit)...the problem was the little metal point on the adapter was gone. The new adapter was much cheaper on Amazon than ordering from Garmin and I rec'd it within a few days! Awesome!
