This was exactly what I needed. Lots cheaper than the hardware store, high quality, fits in the wall plate of your choice, and lets you wire up all the corners of a room.
As noted by another poster, the plug spacing is not .75" so you can't use dual banana jacks. However, I'm not sure that .75" would fit in a lightswitch plate dimension anyway. I have stainless wall plates on every other recepticle in the room, and I was able to buy 2 of these, a wall box, and a stainless double lightswitch plate to end up with something very nice looking.

Makes for a clean installation. Quality product. Use with GLS banana plugs for a solid connection. I just stepped up to a Onkyo 110X7 7.2 A/V receiver and Klipsch 10 speaker plus center channel and sub and I want the best connection possible at affordable prices and GLS products fit the bill perfectly . I have read a lot of reviews
to find the best prices, the best quality and the best service. Amazon always is the place to go. Just one more thing, I am using 12 Ga wire and it fits the banana plugs perfectly.

I have set up a reasonably simple home audio system, with four separate speaker zones around my place. That means eight speakers, and ergo sixteen separate wires (one pos and one neg for each). This is the only product I could find that would allow me to organize all of that into two simple wall plates, neatly tucked into one dual-gang box with a Decora face. It's extremely streamlined and organized now, and works great. Plus the posts that accept bare wires or banana plugs are a really nice feature.Customer Review: solid product, perhaps pricey, nice quality

got this wall jack to go right behind my stereo installed in my wall. great stuff. got the matching GLS bananaplugs for my speaker wires too, highly recommended. ok price, and nice quality. just checked radio shack and they have something slightly similar yet cheaper looking for $24, so check that out... however this is very recommended.Customer Review: Excellent Speaker Post Plate

I needed a connector plate to clean up the mess of speaker wires coming out of the wall from my surround sound system. This plate had a great price and is very well constructed. It was simple to install. I recommend that you label each post on the plate to the appropriate speaker location.
