AAHHHHGG!!! I bought this phone in 2008 (it's 2 y.o. now) because it was so damn pretty! BUT, now I've been living as if the thing has a cord attached to it! What i mean by that is: I can only hand it up by placing in on the base, or "on the hook" as I like to say. Why is this you ask? Oh, Because the @*(%@^ END BUTTON BROKE!!! (probably a year after I bought it.) So it just doesn't work, at all, period, end of story. =( And for some odd reason the black one has better reviews than the red one.... whats with that?Customer Review: Very Poor Quality Product

I loved the way this phone looked and in the end I guess that's why I bought a system of 3 of them. They have just found their way to the trash after only 3 short months.
1 handset's battery completely died (would no longer charge) after 1 month of usage. All phones had background static, audible during a call. Also the speakerphone is completely anemic. The highest setting is still very quiet and not very usable.
We replaced them with the DECT3080 series (also DECT) from Uniden and couldn't be happier. No static, loud speakerphone, clear conversation. Seems like GE forgot what people actually use phones for to begin with.

This phone is crazy cute, but it is nearly impossible to use. Talking on this phone is like talking on a cellphone in an elevator. Nothing improves reception whatsoever. When using this phone to speak to someone else, they appear to have a more difficult time than you do, which is saying a lot. I deeply regret buying this product.
