The electronic Scrabble Dictionary is terrific! It gives quick info about words, Are they real words? What do they mean? Are there variant spellings? It also gives suggestions for using the letters you have on your rack. It's a big help when playing Scrabble. It also has a couple of word games you can play when you're not at the Scrabble table. Playing Scrabble with SCR-228 is GREAT! It is quick, easy to learn, easy to use, and updated from an older model I received as a present from my son years ago (the older model works fine, but is more limited in its use of newer, more updated words and definitions).Customer Review: Game on!

I bought this because my boyfriend and I love to play Scrabble (he usually wins) and we didn't have a decent dictionary. WOW! This takes the game to a new level and puts an OFFICIAL end to all the debating over "is that really a word" and "thats not how thats spelled". Helps to make Scrabble a fast moving and fun game for all ages assembled around the table. Thought it was more like "cheating" at first, then I realized it helps all learn new words--provides definitions too. Wouldn't play without it now!
