I bought this with the intention of just enjoying taking videos. A camcorder that was simple and easy to work. AS i am not a professional.It ended up being much more. My Mother died last week. I used the FLIP to record my last times with her. I came home and very easily loaded it on my computer. Quality was great. I bought this because 5 colleagues recommended it. There is practically nothing to do to make it work like it is supposed to. All you do is turn it on and press the red button and record, that's it. Uploading to your computer is so simple with the built-in USB connection. But now I need a tripod since I bought this for my business that would make it easier for me to use and more practical.Customer Review: I love this camera

This is the easiest video camera I've ever used. The program was very easily downloaded,on windows Vista and XP. The video quality is top knotch indoors and outdoors.I really like the fact that it has low light compensation without causing yellowing or orange tinge to the picture.The sound is very good, and the size of the camera is it's biggest selling point...I'm impressed!Customer Review: Great Little Camcorder

We bought this camcorder for our daughters this Christmas. They absolutely love it. They love making their own little movies and the picture quality is really pretty good. We were able to put their movies onto disc without any problems. The batteries seem to last a good time too. This camera is amazing....it won't replace my main camcorder but is something small and light enough to carry in my purse to catch those spur of the moment memories....its so easy to download the video onto my computer and then send the memories along to my daughter that lives across country. Quality is wonderful for the price....I would highly recommend this item.
