I now have 3 of these - one of the ones I bought on sale (black one) has a problem now with uploading (I think the USB output port perhaps is messed up) However I am still able to use that one by bypassing the FLIPSHARE utility and simply copying files directly from the unit.
The other two cameras work fine (so far).
I love these cameras because they are relatively cheap and I use them for documenting live performances to upload onto VIMEO and YOUTUBE.
I'm a little worried that the quality of these might start to go down (the pouch for this pink one is made from cheaper fabric than the original white one I bought) but those are the times we are living in I guess.
Anyway I give these flips 5 stars - I don't expect them to last forever but while they last, I'm very happy with them - great for documenting work when travelling as well.

This is my second Flip Video camera. I just love it. It is small, about the size of a deck of cards, so easy to carry. It takes excellent videos, even in low to normal lighting. The software is built in so no extra CD software to install before use. It has the built in USB plug too. They thought of everything! The program is easy to use and understand, you can even add music and make a movie to upload to several online web sites, or send it out on an email. I wish they offered more music options but you can use your on MP3 music as well. The software that comes with the camcorder if basic, but you can use a more advanced movie./video programs to make the movie if you have one installed on your computer. All in all it is a great little lightweight camcorder with a big heart! And for the price, you won't beat it's use and value!Customer Review: Stop looking at other cameras, buy this one...you'll like it

I bought the pink one, because at the time it was a little cheaper. We've had it for a few weeks and I am very pleased with the quality of the video and audio. It is as easy to use as advertised. There is room for improvement on the zoom. It isn't very powerful and the video get a little blurry when it is used in low light. So, don't use it and you'll still have a great camera! I am very pleased with this purchase.
I had some difficulty viewing the .avi files that it creates because the computers that I have are so old (Windows ME)and they are not apart of the recommended system requirements. However, I downloaded mplayer for Windows. So, now I can view the video and I love it! The flip ultras work with UBUNTU linux also. I am using Breezy Badger (again...old computer).

I bought this product from Amazon and immediately took it to Disneyland and dropped it out of my diaper bag. The lens cracked and I had only had it for about 2 days. I contacted Amazon to try and find out how to repair it and they had me contact the company. The company informed me that there was no way to replace the lens and kept telling me it was not under waranty because I dropped it. I again contacted Amazon and explained that I knew it was my fault, but I was just hoping I could pay to have it repaired. They were so generous as to replace the product for me. I am so impressed with their customer service and their willingness to help me with damage caused by my own negligence. I will definitely continue shopping with them and telling all my friends to do the same!Customer Review: NEVER LEAVE HOME WITH OUT IT!
