We just bought this camera while we were on vacation with our kids and we love it! It is very user-friendly and compact enough to carry around in your pocket. We got a lot of use out of it.We had considered buying a cover for the camera, but the velvet bag that is included works fine. We also bought the underwater case for it, since we had a pool where we were staying. What Fun! It actually works. I was pretty unsure if this would be ok for the kids to use properly and still keep the camera dry. We had no problems at all. You just make sure it is in the locked position, which is clearly marked, and you're ready to take underwater photos. I would highly recommend these two items.Customer Review: Simple to use

Ordered the Flip Ultra based on reviews. I had some concerns based on negative reviews but have not experienced any of them. The most common concern I noted was the red record button being hard to push. I have not found this to be the case. The record function is a little slow to respond which leads me to suspect that this is what people are referring to. I could easily see some folks hitting the button multiple times thinking it wasn't responding.
I also had no problems downloading the videos to my computer. Plugged it in, loaded the software, saved the videos. Simple. Uploading was equally simple.
A good little camera - no buyer remorse here.

Finally used it for the first time 2 nights ago. Wow, the video is much better than I thought it would be. I agree with those that say the record button could use a little work. I'm uploading the first videos to youtube right now, and really, in every way, I would be hard pressed to see how they could make it any easier than this.
I'm really shocked at how good the quality of the video is. Just amazing, particularly for the amazon price.
I bought this for a website I'm working on, but I think this will get a lot more use than I thought it would. Little things that Grandma would like to see, now made super easy.
Glad I bought it.

I love this thing! I have had it for quite a while now and I use it all the time. It's so easy to use that even the kids can use it, there's only a few buttons and the quality is really great for web-based videos.
The best part for me is the software that is loaded ON the camera. I can take this with me anywhere and as long as I have a computer with a USB port, I can upload videos directly to You Tube or make simple edits.
This is a fabulous camera for taking quick videos... it stays in my camera bag or purse for on-the-go camcording. A must have for a gadget geek!

I purchased this camera for a ski trip. The camera performed fine at very cold temperatures, had it in my ski coat outside pocket. So, below freezing, I was still able to pull out the camera, point and shoot at a moment's notice. Regular alkaline batteries last a lot longer than I anticipated. It takes great pictures at regular zoom, the digital zoom in gets a bit out of focus. I found it very easy to use, easy to get the movies out, and easy on the wallet. The old addage is: you get what you pay for. 1-hour of movies is very sufficient for most of my uses.
