I have been making YouTube videos to help small business people promote and showcase their businesses.
They are always surprised to see me pull out my little camera and always so thrilled with the quality of their videos!
I recently lost my camera and thought I was upgrading by ordering an Aiptek HD camera, but about $35 more. What a disappointment. It is hard to use and the quality isn't as good. It is going back in the mail first thing Monday am.
I am ordering another Flip camera, orange. Can't wait to get back to work again.
If you want something that is so easy to use and super high quality, this is the camera for you.

Bought this for myself. I consider it a nice impulse buy, and was ready to return it if it did not meet my expectations. I own both a Mac and a PC. Uploads to both quite easily. Within minutes I was able to download videos and send off in email. I don't consider myself a computer expert, but the whole process was so easy I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I managed to download the videos onto my computer. I tried to view the movies on my Sony Bravia 46 inch LCD TV. The shots that were taken at night, were OK, meaning I can see some pixelation of the screen, but the ones that were taken in daylight were surprisingly of nice resolution. Audio was fine. Very pleased. I expected poor quality once the videos were played back on the big screen but it turned out to be quite good.Customer Review: No, No, No accidentally put full stars when should have been 1

We were totally excited about this product until we actually got it. It never worked right from the beginning. We could record a couple of seconds then it would turn itself off and the only way to get it back on was to remove the batteries and it would go through the same pattern off-on-off-on. Then when tried to connect to computer we were prompted that device did not contain the parts needed to download. Contacted flip tech support was told to take batteries out and let lay for a couple of days. Did this and this solved nothing. The only postive part is Amazon backs up their product and issued a full refund. Just disappointed that the Flip didn't work because it's a cool idea I think they just need to work some kinks out first. I don't write many reviews, UNLESS a product sucks ! THIS DOES NOT !!! I love it, my friends do too, now they are buying a FLIP TOO !!
As many other people have stated, the "built-in" software sucks. I have had some good use with this, BUT mostly bad. Trying to load it on my XP Pro HP media center PC was always a hassle. My NEW Vista HP media center PC has the SAME glitches. SO, it HAS TO BE the crappy software built in to this Flip Ultra !! Plus, it SHOULD work as a "plug and play" when the USB is inserted.. it dont on my Vista machine. A HIGH end one at that !!! So, it looks like you have to gamble on whether it will work right for you or not... Maybe the NEW Mino HD is better ?? For the BIG $$$, i sure hope so !!! BEWARE !!!!

This is what I have been waiting for. I got this for Christmas this year and it was all I ever hoped for and more. I opened the package, put the batteries in and was ready to start recording. It is so small, I can carry it in my purse or diaper bag and be ready to quickly capture my kid's antics. I love the fact that it is so accessible, it literally takes about 5 seconds to get this thing ready to use! I LOVE it. My mom saw me having so much fun with mine that she got online and ordered it for my sister too. You can't beat the price or usability. AWESOME product! The other great thing is that since it is so easy to use, my 8-year-old can take it out and snap videos of me and dad. If you want to buy a great baby gift...this is it!
