The flip video is so small, it's sometimes difficult to keep still and let the subject move. This nifty little thing solves that problem, fits in a pocket, is indexpensive.... what else could you want?? (except maybe some velcro straps to attach it to a pole of other vertical stand... but, then, you can get some velcro, too!)Customer Review: Flip camera tripod

This cute little tripod is easy to use, screw in the camera and you are done. Lightweight, so I carry it with me in the same case I carry the Flip camera with. I still need to figure out how to take self-videos, to aim it directly at my face,guess that is trial and error, not a problem with the product. I got this as an extra when I bought my flip. I use it to make videos of myself to send to my family and friends. It's great. I simply attach my Flip camcorder to it and then set it on a box and start the Flip and go and sit in front of it. I don't have to worry about the Flip sliding or tipping over, etc.Customer Review: Love this

This tripod is awesome. Since it's actually made by Flip, it fits the camera perfectly and does exactly what it's supposed to. Bought this for my 11 year old to go with the Flip Camcorder...I wanted her to be able to use this on her own if she wanted. The product is easy to use and a reasonable price. It also came with 3 or 4 sets of different colored rubber tips for the ends that she can change which I wasn't aware of.
