OK how many people have video cameras that sit around, never get used becuase of batteries, tape, lugging it around etc, etc. Then IF they take videos they never watch them becuase it's too much trouble. Enter the flip. If you love your digital camera then you'll love this. I took my first video WITHOUT removing it from the package! That's how easy it is. It uses standard AA batteries and I've plugged it into 3 computers to play or download videos without any problems. All the software is contained on the device so there's no CD to install. I have the 1 hour model which is all anyone really wants to ever see of one event anyway. This will do for video what the digital camera did for photos.Customer Review: I love this camcorder!!!

This is the best thing ever. I have a $1000+ camcorder that is so complicated I have used it about twice. I have already used this Flip camcorder many, many times after having just purchased it a week ago. I record things just for myself so I can't speak much to the picture quality, but it certainly is great for what I do. I also film my daughter's horseback riding competitions and I cannot wait to use it for that. I've downloaded what I've taken already and it was quick and easy to do. I can't recommend it enough. The only negative I can think of is that the zoom is not that great, but that is a small thing when looking at the overall ease of using this product. GET IT! This product has absolutely wowed me. Two minutes after taking it out of the box, I had shot a test video and emailed it to someone. There is essentially no instruction manual, but that's because a 5-year-old could figure out how to use this camera.
What would you expect from a video camera that costs $120? I guarantee that you will receive more than what you'd expect with your Flip!
I use my Flip to upload video blogs to YouTube to draw people to my Web site. It's absolutely perfect for that, or for recording basic videos less than an hour in length.
Highly recommended, especially if you have a laptop (it plugs directly into your USB port - no cord needed).

I purchased the Flip to take with me on vacation over Christmas. I have a vcr video but it is very cumberson and I have to keep changing the vcr tapes. I found the Flip to be easy to use-so easy that my 6 year old granddaughter took videos with it. The picture quality is as good or better than my vcr video and the sound surprised me. I did not anticipate getting good sound but it is great! The only drawback is that I bought the one that only records one hour of video and then you download it to the computer. Downloading to the computer is simple and I was able to create DVD's to share with my family. I could have taken videos all day, I was so pleased with the purchase!Customer Review: Very user friendly

I've only had this camera less than 24 hours and I haven't been able to put it down. What's great is it comes with cords to plug right into your tv so there's no need for tapes, etc to watch on tv. The other nice thing is when you plug it into the tv you don't have to change the channel to a certain station or anything it just starts. I have a dvd burner hooked to my tv and I'm sure I'll be able to burn straight from the tv to the burner for home movies. This will also be great for vacation trips, you don't really have to lug it around it fits in your hand and comes with a little bag to put it in. Nothing but high praise for this, it's also great for youtube geeks like me :-)
