I've been making movies on zillions of cameras since 1957, but my new Flip is one of the first that totally exceeded my expectations, and at a low price. My only complaint is that I can't seem to upload movie "mixes" to my jump drive for easy transport. But the use of DVDs on a SuperDrive Mac makes up for that! I look forward to a deeper zoom lens and even larger files (say 2 hours of video, maybe on SD cards?) !!

I bought The Flip with high hopes that I, technologically challenged, would be able to use it with ease and have quality video and my hopes were answered. The Flip Video Camcorder is the best lil camcorder out there. It plugs right into my USB port, I can make movies, I can upload easily to YouTube and it runs on AA's! I have had no problems and have taken over 180 hours of video so far, in the three short weeks I've had my new baby. I highly recommend this video recorder and have been screaming, "BUY THIS" to all of my friends!Customer Review: Small - Versatile - Amazing

The Flip Video is a remarkable recorder that is great for those everyday moments or a unique moment one would never believe. The video quality is quite good and the sound quality is good. I carry it around with me and captured a fire, a jet blue van blocking a major highway and my friend's baby saying a few words. I love it! It records for an hour. It works off just regular batteries. It is a little tricky to hook up to your computer but it is possible. It also has built in software to edit and email your videos.Customer Review: pocket video camera

This is a very handy pocket video camera. It has a good quality picture and is easy to use. With this you can catch those magic moments that you want to retain. Since it fits in a coat pocket, there's no excuse for not having it at work or play. The price is very reasonable and it uses 2 "AA" batteries. Several friends have admired it asked where I purchased it. I am sure that it would be very usefull in many situations of day to day life as well as "on the job" for some professions. I bought the Flip for my daughter who is studying animation. I thought it would be great to have something simple and light like a point-and-shoot camera, but with moving images. And that's exactly what this is. It takes great pictures even in low light and picks up sound perfectly. The only criticism would be the 2x zoom (we're used to more), and the fact that you should always carry spare batteries (it uses AAs and they run out in about 2 hours). I'm buying another one for myself!
