I have a small child and sometimes just want to grad 30 seconds of video to show the grandparents her latest stunt. For this type of video, the Flip is perfect. It is easy to turn on and off, start taping and end. The zoom is decent and the video quality suits my needs. I have used the software that comes loaded on the camera but still prefer to pull it off and edit it in another program--which is easy to do with the Flip. I reccomend this product if you want to take short videos and post them on the internet.Customer Review: Flip video camera

What a great bargain! I hardly ever record more than 30 minutes of video at one time, so this is a wonderful and inexpensive way for me to record things. We used it on our recent vacation. I took my laptop with us and was able to download the videos after the camera was full and then use it again. The ease of using it and downloading directly from the camera is great. The quality of the still photos taken from the video wasn't so wonderful, but the video was pretty good. One of my better bargain buys!Customer Review: More than I expected

I'm probably like most people - usually "underwhelmed" by a purchase. At first blush, I'm pleased but soon the glitter wears off and it's just another something that will gather dust. That is NOT the case with this camera. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. It worked immediately and the quality of the video was exceptional. I have bought three of these cameras, two for my nephews as gifts and one for myself. My nephews love them and use it for youtube videos, I am just having great fun with it, I tell everyone they should have one--so much fun and the software that comes with it is wonderful. It is so very user friendly you are up and sending unique emails and videos to everyone you know. Great if you have little ones.Can't say enough good things about this little camera. I bought this camera for my 11 year old son. It was the perfect video camera for his needs. He is able to operate the camera, upload his "mini-movies" to our computer and/or watch them on TV without help. I saved a bunch of money by going with the older format, 30 minutes of filming and 2A batteries. No regrets. My only suggestion - athough the batteries have a decent lifespan, buy a camera bag with an extra pocket large enough carry along a spare set of 2As.
