We bought our Flip Mino at Costco and it came with this pouch as a bonus. I am very surprised to see that it is actually for sale! We have been using this pouch since January 2009, and realized from the very beginning that we needed to be very careful with this pouch if we wanted it to last.
The main problem with the pouch is that it has very minimal cushioning to protect the Flip. Secondly, a few months after we began using it the layers of the fabric started separating from the neoprene cushion layer right at the opening. This happens as a result of taking the Flip out and putting it back in. Eventually it gets torn and looks terrible. Although this doesn't prevent us from using the pouch, it does look shabby.
Apart from the above, the stitching of the pouch is still very intact and seemingly strong. Also, the only reason to use this pouch is the fact that it comes with a key ring, which makes it easy to attach to a belt loop or hook it onto some other similar place.
This pouch should be a promotional giveaway. Not worth actually shelling out money for!

Oh, how I wish I'd paid attention to other reviewers before I ordered this completely useless object! If I could give it zero stars or minus stars, I would. It's not so much the flimsiness of the neoprene (though it is as thin/cheap as you can get) as it is the fact that it's plain old TOO SMALL, and was manufactured too small to begin with. Not a question of it fitting "snuggly" - you have to struggle for several minutes to stuff it into the case, and once you get it in there, no chance that you could ever whip the camera out in a hurry for a quick video. Almost anything you could buy in a Big Box store would be better than this, and maybe cheaper. An eyeglasses case would be better than this thing. So please - don't be suckered, like I was - don't waste your money. It isn't worth the hassle, after you pay the return postage, to send it back, so you're just out the money. Wow, I've never had a carrying case that's as difficult to use as this, the first time I put the flip camera inside, it took me at least 3 minutes. In order to be a useful case, the time taken to take out/put away the camera should be on the order of 2 to 5 seconds. With a little practice, you can take the camera out in under 5 seconds, but be prepared to spend at least 10 to 15 seconds putting it back in. Instead of making me want to take the camera everywhere with me, this accessory actually makes me want to use it less for fear of having to put it back in its case. I think the $15 I spent on the case could easily have protected the case in the form of 2 singles and the $13 worth of batteries to be able to use the camera more often would have been much more helpful than this case. I would definitly recommend this case... to an enemy, but certainly not a friend.Customer Review: Stay away, awful!

I gave this one star for the material and loop holder. You might think, how bad can a case be? That's what my mom thought when purchasing this for my xmas gift along with the Flip. Well, it's impossible to use. It is designed like a pillow sham as one reviewer mentioned. If they just didn't stitch along the top of the flap it would work fine. But the sides of the flap are stitched down the top of the case, creating a small hole to squeeze the Flip into, which can be done but is quite a struggle. Why would someone design such a wonderful product and not even make the case functionable. I considered removing the stitching myself and adding velcro, but why, for now the black pouch it comes with is fine until something better comes along. Don't waste your money having to ship this back to amazon once you order it, stay away.
