If you have a shredder you need this oil. Shredders are mechanical devices and need to be oiled regularly or the motor in them will burn out. One bottle of this oil will last you forever, and make your shredder last forever. I figured out by reading the reviews on shredders that they will fail if you don't oil them. I ordered a bottle of Shreder Oil when I ordered my Fellows Powershred W-11 shredder. It came in a separate shipment a couple days after the shredder arrived. I had run some sheets through the shredder when I got it, and was I ever suprised at the difference oiling the machine made. The machine ran much more quietly and seemed to double in power. Highly recommended if you want your shredder to work for more than a few weeks, and a much cheaper alternative than buying a new shredder every few weeks.Customer Review: A good investment for the shredder

My Fellows shredder was having some trouble. It just did not seem to cut and shred that well. It frequently got jammed, I was ready to get rid of it.
As a last resort, I purchased this lubricant in the hopes of keeping my shredder out of the landfill or worse. Wow, was I surprised after only 24h after the first application. My shredder did not clog or stick once and there was no oily mess in the catch bin. It has been approximately 3 months and I have applied the lubricant again. It is working marvelously! In this day and age of disposable devices, it was nice to know that the life of this shredder can be extended.
I highly recommend this lubricant as an investment to keep your shredder operating at it's maximum level. Really worth it!

This stuff came as a surprise to me thru an order of a new Fellows shredder. I ordered the new machine because my last shredder was gasping it's death rattle. In researching the new Fellows machine, I began to see comments about the need to lubricate these things and so when I ordered the Fellows, I also ordered the lubricant. After receiving it, I had a brainstorm that maybe if I tried it on the old dying rattletrap shredder, it might do it some good. Wow! This stuff brought the old machine back to life. I have had several shredders die prematurely over the years and never had an inkling that they might need some simple lubricant.
If you have a shredder, any shredder, buy this stuff and try it out. Can't hurt, can it?

This is a nice investment to make your shreader last longer. I have shredded over 3 full baskets of paper. Today was the first time I used the oil. I know I should have used this oil earlier and often since the manual suggest one should regularly use after bin is full or if capacity decreases, motor sounds different or sherdder stops running. It was not messy for me like some people might have said. You don't have to use a lot. It was used when the basket was full so that if you did use more than necessary it was collected on the cuttings and leaving the basket free from any oils. To me it did seem to be cutting like it was knew when I first received it back about a year ago.Customer Review: WAS NOT MESSY FOR ME
