I ordered these bags (in addition to the ones that came with the shredder) but never received them. Not sure why, maybe they tried to send them to out PO Box. Anyway, the ones that came with the machine work well if you make sure and tuck the bag behind the plastic slits at the front of the machine waste recepticle. These waste bags purchased to help with disposal of confetti cut paper. Bags designed to fit in the container under the shredder. Easier to tie bag before removing from container under shredder and then deposit in trash can. What can you say about a plastic bag? It's made of a more brittle plastic compared with the soft plastic garbage bag. Still subject to static charge which is an issue for confetti, but much less so than a regular garbage bag. It fits the shredder. I suppose you could use regular trash bags, but these are made to fit perfect. I like the way they work!
