I purchased the Fellowes Powershred MS-450Cs shredder here on Amazon about six months ago. So far, I have had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS with this machine. This shredder is great for home use. It is super quiet. It operates at a whisper noise level (you could use this shredder in a room where someone is sleeping without waking them up). Also, the Safe Sense feature is great - especially if you have children. The Safe Sense feature stops the shredder immediately if someone touches any part of the silver area around either of the shredder's entry slots. The security level is great, too. Papers are reduced to very small dimensions. All of this and at a reasonable price. What more could you want?
