This is the best wrist rest.
As wrist rests go, this wrist rest must exist as best.
It is billed as a "flex" wrist rest. As such, the reviewer must defer to the manufacturer's best judgment, because this wrist rest does list (in my case, it lists to the right). I do find that the odor emitted by the new wrist rest is not the best, but you do get used to it.
Should a user get used to the wrist rest smell, though, the user used to the best flex wrist rest's existing smell is rewarded.
So, to sum up, here we have the best right-listing flex wrist rest that exists.

I initially bought the Belkin F8E244-BLK WaveRest Gel Wrist Pad and it was AWFUL. Within a couple months is had completely flattened out and was virtually useless. I bought this one next and have had it for about 6 months now and it is still totally functional and comfortable (it has flattened a little in the center, but no where near as flat as the Belkin product became and the slight concave dent that this one has now actually makes it a little more comfortable). If you are debating between the two, I STRONGLY recommend you give this one a try and avoid the Belkin product entirely. Hope that helps.Customer Review: How could I live without it before?

I use a computer a lot, and until recently I hadn't had problems, but about two or three weeks ago I did a lot of cut and paste and my wrist became tired and strained. Then I saw this product (the blue gel mini wrist rest) advertised, and thought it was just what I needed. I am very happy with my wrist rest, and contrary to what some reviews say, it does not smell. One thing you can do with anything made of rubber (or gel?) is wash it and put baby powder on it to preserve the finish. That ought to take care of the odor.

If you use a laptop on a regular basis, most of the times you use your computer at somewhere besides your desk at home (I don't even have one at the moment!)
What you may not realize is how much stress you put on your wrist if you use a mouse without using a wrist pad. the angle you hold the mouse at is bad for your wrist, and then the added pressure you place directly on the hard table surface makes it worse. This pad is a great solution, its nice and squishy, and its very portable. Get this or give this, its should be required if you use a laptop.

I have a wrist rest at work, and when my wrist started bothering me on the computer at home, I thought it was time to spring the $10 or so to have one at home too.
This wrist rest is perfect. It is shaped just right for my wrist and cradles it comfortably. The gel is cool and firm, just right for long periods of use - so far, I haven't noticed it getting sticky at all against my skin. It stays put on my desk, too, no sliding around. Very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it to others.
