Customer Review: Chews up paper at an Industrial Pace

This is a great industrial level shredder, with a lot of automatic features. You pour your shredder oil into its tank and it automatically oils itself as it shreds. It self-clears jams that may come up. It will chew up 20 sheets of paper at a time, along with cards and CD/DVD discs. It has a proximity sensor to shut down if your hands are too close to the feeding slots. There are lots of warning symbols, so you know not to feed your ties, hair, or kids into the shredder. The main compartment is large enough so you are not constantly emptying the bin all the time and it has a small bin to catch card and disc debris and keep it separate from the paper bin. We bought this unit to replace a commercial version of the same model. The bin is about twice the size and it is superior in every respect. I found this new on Amazon at a great price and I recommend it, even if you had to pay closer to retail for it.
