I purchased a Fellows SB-99Ci shredder because I had alot of old documents from recently passed on loved ones and some of my own. Just to clear out the clutter. I've had cheap shredders before that didn't shred for anything, so I went ahead and got the Fellows. It's performance exceeded my expectations by far. The unit worked flawlessly and I was able to get the job done quickly. It will be a welcome addition to my home office. I would recommend a Fellows shredder, maybe one not so large, but none the less, it worked fine for me.Customer Review: Performs As Advertised

I have a home office for two people. I have worn out lesser quality shredders. It was time to spend the extra money to get something robust that will last a good long time. So far my shredder has performed without a glitch and I can recommend it highly. It also is nice looking, feels of quality, has a nice display, and I do like how the digital lights tell you if your to be shredded item is too large to shred BEFORE you shred it, by simply sliding it into the slot. Arrived without a scratch from Fedex. Rolls right out of the box. Just snap the document holder on and plug it in. Shreds like a monster. I wanted something that would eat junk mail like credit card offers without choking. Well this one munches them up into little bits without a hiccup. As a bonus, it looks just like a "gonk droid" from Star Wars so we call ours GONK, and when we need to shred something we say "give it to GONK"!! I recommend buying it for any home or small office. I own a small business and do a lot of shredding of paperwork. The employee that uses this regularly is very pleased with it, compared to a lighter duty shredder from from the same manufacturer; which we overused and wore out. We are all impressed with how quiet this unit is, and she is very happy that it hasn't yet jammed; after owning it for a couple of months. The safety feature is also a nice plus. I purchased this model for my home office. Once a month I go through all my files....both business and personal and shred everything no longer needed. The SB99 handles it wiithout any issues. I really like the meter that lets you know if you are putting to much paper in there before it begins to shred, great time saver of trying to unjam the paper. I would recommend this product to anyone and Amazon.com had the least expensive price by $50.
