I bought this for our home office. The best price by far was found here on Amazon.
This runs fairly quietly, which was one of the most important features I wanted. It is modern looking, and has wheels. It has extra features such as a "bin full" light/icon feature, and a see-through plastic strip running up the bin so you have an easy visual of how full it is.
The no-jam feature has yet to fail. It sucks it in partially, then stops, then will either back it out on its own, or proceed grinding it without jamming.
The bin seems to take two hands to push in all the way -one to hold the machine, and the other to push in the bin, as it seems to catch at the end and not want to go in easily, but this is a minor issue.
It is worth the money to get this grinder, as it does the job well and seems like it will last a long while.
It also comes with a container of gear oil (I did not know that, and bought some separately).

I bought this shredder for my home office to replace another Fellowes shredder that had begun to "shred" itself after a number of years of use/abuse. I am a corporate recruiter and I needed a way to shred stacks of hard copy resumes that accumulate after they have been scanned into our data base. I also wanted a shredder that was capable of shredding all those credit card offers that arrive in the mail without having to open the envelope. This shredder has been up to the task. Shredding which used to occupy much of my idle time is now completed in a few minutes and I never have to open a credit card offer again. The only negative is that when you remove the plastic bag it tends to get caught on the bottom of the view window and tear. But after the first time it happened I was aware of the design deficiency and I just hold the bag away from it with my hand when I removed it. I would recommend this product to anyone with a home or small office.Customer Review: Excellent Shredder

Amazon had an amazingly low price on this unit compared to anything else online. Arrived in a huge box, was very easy to unpack and setup (put on the casters and plug it in!). The casters may have been a little finicky, but once seated correctly they are not going to fall off! This unit was out of the box, plugged in and eating large sums of paper in 10-15 mins. I used it for four large paper bags of personal material which has stuffed going on three lawn and garden size trash bags in just a couple of weeks. It has not jammed, I have not had ANY Problems with pushing the basket back into place after emptying and it will eat a considerable amount of paper very easily. It shreds credit cards and CD/DVD with ease as well. Very hungy machine! Highly recommended. I have only owned this unit for about a month now, but NO COMPLAINTS. This is the fourth paper shredder we've purchased for our small business, and by far the best. It was very easy to set up, once I figured out how to seat the casters in place (the only assembly task). We've been working our way through back-logs of stored documents that were too much trouble to shred with our last machine, and after 2 month's use, have yet to jam this one. The light display showing amount of shredder capacity used for each pass has helped us to keep feeding documents at the maximum rate without bogging the machine down. Every now and then we insert too thick a stack, and it simply refuses to try, rather than taking it in and clogging. It is indeed reasonably quiet, and the safety shut-off feature works quite well. We also like the secondary power switch on the top of the shredder, backed up by the master power switch in the rear. All-in-all, a very satisfactory choice.Customer Review: Finally got "THE" shredder!

I've had a lot of shredders over the years, but they always seem to burn out after a year or so. They are never nearly as heavy duty as you hope they would be and get jammed constantly.
Even though I've only had this shredder for a month or two, there is NO DOUBT that this shredder will not be like that. It's MUCH BIGGER than the standard ones I've gotten at the big box stores. It has a MUCH BIGGER motor and feels VERY heavy duty. It's so large that the motor isn't even working that hard to shred, so its not even running loud. It's very quiet...more so than any shredder I've used before.
Stop spending $[...] bucks every few years on a new shredder, and get the good one now. It will be cheaper in the end and definitely less hassle.
