So I was actually looking and comparing hdmi cables around amazon. I eventually stumbled upon this cable and another. I added this to my cart along with another item (which I already decided upon) when I accidentally hit full checkout when deciding if I should or not (one click with laggy internet...)
Well I did a lot more research that night and even emailed the hdmi-king. I got some great responses. They really know about how this cable will compare to a monster cable about 100+ more in price. Right now I am streaming full HD from my laptop to my 1080i tv and it looks amazing! I can't wait to test this with my friend's xbox 360 and see upconverted 1080p DVD's on a much bigger TV. Trust me when I say this cable will do what it needs to do.
When 1440p TV's become standard in the future, this cable will be there performing like a Monster cable 10 times its price! highly recommended

After researching HDMI cables on Amazon and [...], I was convinced that a cheap HDMI cable worked just as well as the more than expensive cables such as from Monster. I took the leap of faith and purchased this HDMI cable. The package came in a plastic bag in a cardboard box (which was thankfully, easy to open and plug right in). I have had the cable for a couple of months now and the cable works great. I'm not sure how much the cable being gold plated and having ferrite cores really matter but with a few dollars more, I thought that it couldn't hurt. I use the HDMI cable to mainly play my Playstation 3 and the picture is exceptionally clear. I would recommend this cable to anyone looking for ANY HDMI cable - do your research before buying those expensive cables and trust the hundreds of other customers who purchased cheap but high quality cables like this one.Customer Review: Great Product for the Money

I bought this product nearly a year ago when I bought my LG HDTV. I did not want to spend $30-$100 on a HDMI cable from the store where I bought my tv. I debated and debated on what HDMI cable to purchase. Obviously, not all are created equal. One would think that a $100 cable that a retail store would try to sell you, like a Monster cable, would be better than a $10 cable found on Amazon.com. However, that's not the case. This HDMI cable, with shipping, cost me under $10 at Amazon and has great picture quality. I have never had any kind of issue with the cable at all connected to my Dish Receiver. I finally upgraded and got a Blu-Ray player and needed another HDMI cable. I searched Amazon and other stores again, but decided to buy another one of these cables. For the price, quality, and picture, you can't seem to go wrong with this HDMI cable.Customer Review: Great cable for less

When my LCD TV arrived I had to rush to a store for HDMI cable as I could not wait for the online order to arrive. To my surprise I couldn't find a single store that will sell these cable for $10 an ideal price for this cable. Bestbuy and radioshack were ripping me off by charging $50 for HDMI 6 Ft cable. Eventually I settled for a philips 3 ft so called gold plated HDMI cable for $26 from Walmart.
I had ordered 2 of these cables from Amazon and it arrived in 4 days and these cables were exactly the same in terms of quality as compared to an expensive in-store ones. I returned the one I purchased from Walmart immediately. These Cables should not cost more than $10 for 6 ft. Anything above 10 is a ripoff. Pre-order these cables online before you need them so that you don't have to rush to a store and get ripped off.

To make a long story short a guy at Best Buy tried to get me to buy a cable from them for $60.00, and then I went to Wal-Mart where I found them much cheaper. The best thing was I ran into a friend who is much more electronically inclined than I am and she told me about the HDMI cables on amazon.com. I asked why they were so much cheaper and she told me it was because the retailers make a huge mark up on them. So then I went online and read all the customer reviews and did a little research on cable quality. I decided on this cable because of the company's good reviews and the quality of the materials in the cable. I used this cable to hook up my Blu-Ray player and I LOVE it. The shipping was very reasonable and fast, plus the price was amazing. I think shipping and all I got it for around $8.00. I couldn't be happier.
