Customer Review: FC twin didn't work...
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought this hoping to FINALLY play some of the classics, when It got here I plugged everything in correctly, and put in a game and turned it on.. I tried pressing power on the VCR and putting it on channel 3, didnt work. tried every channel didnt work, so I tried it on 2 other tvs, nothing worked, only spots everywhere on the screen, I even tried 3 different games.

The FC Twin is a great system and plays my NES games flawlessly, but I have to keep my foot on the cartridge to keep the connection between the cartridge and the system active. Unless I got a defective one, I'd have to actually warn people about this.

Customer Review: Control Issues
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased the new black FC Twin (with the YOBO logo behind the NES slot) and noticed right off that the directional pad seemed to be a bit stiffer and would respond a bit slower than a regular SNES or NES controller. This isn't noticeable with most games since you can usually get around this slight lag while getting used to the slight timing issues as you get used to playing games with it. However, when playing fasterpaced NES games such as levels 10 and 11 on battletoads, the controller just couldn't keep up with the game and it actually became impossible to get to the last level (something I've done all the time using regular NES controllers and did right before trying it on the FC TWIN). The reason I was having this kind of trouble was because the directional pad just wouldn't respond quick enough without a slight lag time (level 11 on Battletoads requires you to push each directional button at a specific time so you won't crash) making it virtually impossible for me to get anywhere on the level.

Due to the fact that this system won't accept regular NES controllers, I ended up purchasing a regular Super Nintendo controller to try out. When I put in any NES or SNES game with the regular SNES controller, the "Up" button wasn't working at all. These issues really put a blemish on an otherwise great system (I could get past the slightly altered music for the original NES games easily). Don't buy this system expecting the same type of control you'd otherwise expect on an NES or SNES.

Customer Review: Its a piece of garbage!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

The FC Twin is a piece of trash. When you first buy it and take it home and start playing games, it seems awesome. It plays them all perfectly with a minimum of blowing on and adjusting the games. But conveniently, as soon as the system is about two weeks old, it stops working. I notice most of the folks reviewing the FC Twin have only had the console for two weeks or less, so they don't yet know the truth. The card reader just stops reading the games and all you get is a blank screen. The problem is far worse with the NES slot than it is with the SNES slot. Mine is not just a rare faulty console either because I have purchased two consoles and both did exactly the same thing, they worked great for two weeks and then stopped working conveniently right when it became too late to send them back for a refund. Oddly enough, two of my games still work in my FC Twin, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and Wheel of Fortune, but none of my other NES games do (and I have over a hundred games). I have no idea whats so special about these two games, but I guess if they're the only two NES games you own, then the FC Twin is perfect for you. But if you own any others, forget about it. Its an utterly useless ripoff.

Customer Review: The TRUTH about TWIN Video Game system.
Summary: 1 Stars

The TRUTH is, you get what you pay for.

These systems TWIN, YOBO, Etc. are cheaply manufactured black marketed type of systems. There are Certain nintendo games and Super nintendo games that they are unable to play. Thus leaving you 60-70 bucks more broke, with something that doesn't even do the job correctly. Also these systems were made with a poor color palet. Leaving games like Super Mario bros, Zelda,Etc. with odd colors that are not true to the original way remembering it and playing it. To people considering buying this product,PLEASE save the 60-70 bucks and buy yourself the ORIGINAl Nintendo and/or Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Etc. You can find them Here on Amazon or Ebay or even type in Nintendo games for sale, on GOOGLE.com and you will find lists of online stores that sell All the old school systems, ranging from Atari, to Sega Genesis, The 1st ever Game boy etc. However if your not really into playing old games and just wanna have something to shove it into and Rip it out of damaging the cartridge, and dont really care about the poor color, then by all means buy the TWIN video game system, and/or the YOBO system.
