If you are missing the games from Nintendo and Super Nintendo, definitely get this unit. Do not even waste your time on trying to find an original working or refabed machine. You cannot go wrong with brand new! I specifically bought this unit because my teen son missed playing some of the titles and very fond memories of when he was a little guy. After cruising the internet for the "antique" units and having everyone state the units they sell are "as is" I was disappointed. Then I ran across the FC Twin and decided to go along with the specific seller that had the longest warranty on it. It's been a few weeks now and the FC Twin is playing like a champ! We came across some titles at a resale shop for $2 a piece, cleaned em up and they play like new. I am VERY satisfied with this purchase.Customer Review: No complaints for a perfect system

As soon as I recieved my system, I jumped right into playing NES and SNES games and have not stopped. I have been told that the sound on the NES setting is off, but honestly, the difference is very slight. I was debating buying used NES and SNES systems, but I'm so happy I stuck with the FC Twin because it's so convenient, easy to set up, and overall a great experience for those who want to relive old school gaming.
I almost bought my FC Twin at a local collector's store, but they wanted 80 dollars for it. I'm so happy I checked Amazon because I was very close to spending an unnecessary amount of money. So be warned: stores will overcharge for this system. You're much better off buying it online!

this system does what you would expect. Looks like a super nintendo but with a slot in the back for nes games. Had an original super nes control that i was able to plug into it. comes with two controlers but they fill pretty flimsy so having an original is nice. games work well in it, although sometimes you have to fidgit with them to get them to work, but not as much as an original system. overall a fine product if your looking to play some old school games from your past...Customer Review: NES games just ... work

Works perfectly. The controllers are very similar to SNES controllers, perhaps a bit lighter but very comfortable and more to my tastes than the Wii classic controller.
I was able to bust out my box of NES and SNES games and they all worked--no blowing, jiggling or voodoo rituals. They just worked.
A few of the games needed some coaxing though. If you get scrambled graphics, try cleaning the contacts on the cartridge with a Q-tip.

If you've damaged or lost or just thrown away your nintendo or SNES console this WILL do the job. There are some games for which it is incompatible but not many. You can find out what works and doesn't on wikipedia. Nintendo should've thought of this, combining both systems but from what I here they might raid your house if you've bought this system
