I have had a very had time with ear plugs and use them quite frequently. These ear plugs are extremely easy to use and to fit in your ear. My ears have always had problems with ear plugs not staying in and these went in easy and did not fall out. They block noise extremely well and i like the case and cord that they come with. These hearing protectors deliver as advertised. They attenuated noise fairly uniformly across the frequency bands, not just high frequencies so it is possible to understand speech but still get an overall reduction in noise of around 20 dB which I confirmed with a computer based octave analyzer. These are much better than foam earplugs. everything's clear. First thing I did when I got them was test them out in a movie theater. Watched the whole movie with no problems. There is quite a bit of in-head noise, like breathing and chewing, but it is great for when I'm singing because I can hear myself clearly over the rest of the band.Customer Review: Quieter, but still easy to play

As a flute player, I'm always listening for pitch to stay in tune with the others. These little gems knock the sound from the amps way down but I can function normally. It's best for me to put them in a little early to get used to the sound with them in. Be sure to keep them clean. These earplugs are comfortable and do a great job of lowering the volume without taking away all the high end frequencies. I play the drums in two bands and use them all the time. I also use them at rock concerts and am very happy with them. For the price they're well worth it.
