The product comes with a really nice, small case (smaller than the Hearos cases) and a cord that allows you to connect the two plugs together (if you like being able to drape them around your neck without using them). The case comes with a ball chain so you can fix it to your keychain! 5 stars for coming with really useful accessories. If you're used to the squishy foam earplugs, these won't reduce the sound as much as those do, but you will also be able to hear everything clearly.
The card that comes with the product says that it will fit normal ear canal diameters of 7-13mm. It is rated at 12 dB on the card "when used as directed." The card also describes how to clean the plugs, etc.

Buy them. They flatten out the sound at live shows and make things sound great. I was right near the stage at a Built To Spill show (best band ever) this Friday. The stage sound was loud and I couldn't really hear any vocal. Put these in and it was like getting the house mix in my head. Nice even levels - no painful highs. There is a slight mud/hollow aspect to the sound, but given the overall improvement and the reduced damage to my already compromised hearing, it was not a problem. Could also talk and hear conversation with ease. Really happy I bought them. So spend 10 bucks and keep them in your pocket at the next show you go to. These earplugs are simple, inexpensive, and effective. They bring down the noise level without muffling sound quality. I play in a rock band and these earplugs have saved my life!... well... maybe not my life, but definitely my hearing. I even keep them on after playing because along with saving my hearing, they are saving my voice (no need to yell at people in order hear myself).
I would recommend these for bands, loud clubs, airplanes, and any noisy environments.
My only complaint is that they are easy to lose. Maybe Etymotic research could release some earplugs with wireless remote radar locator :O just kidding, just remember where you put them, fool!

I bought these direct from the seller a couple of years ago. I regularly go to a goth club where the music gets louder and louder. I still want to converse with my friends, so regular foam earplugs were out. These work great. I can still hear people talking (as best as one can given the volume of the music), yet can leave the club without that ringing and temporary deafness (also known as "occluded hearing", which eventually leads to permanent deafness or tinnitus over time).
This is a great way to protect my hearing and still enjoy my times at concerts and clubs.

I was first introduced to these while in the Aggie Band. Shove a marching band into a small room and have them literally play as loud as possible - yes, it's LOUD. But with these ear plugs, you hear all the sounds and save your ears.
Now I carry them on my key ring at work, where I'm intermittently exposed to hearing-damaging sounds. I LOVE them and would recommend them to anyone looking for ear plugs. They are conveniently packaged and allow you to have conversations while still protecting your ears in loud environments.
Don't think, just buy!
