Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Eton FR300 Emergency Crank Radio Metallic RedCustomer Review: Eton FR 300 Summary: 5 Stars
I love this thing!
This is my second Eton product and believe that they are making a great product at the right price. It has a great form factor and does not eat the batteries. The alarm function during weather alerts is loud (scared my wife at 11:30 at night!) The light is good and the blinking red is also bright. The body is rubberized which means a no slip radio when having to crank it when wet. I give it a 9 out of 10. Great job Eton!
Customer Review: A Great Little Radio! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this radio to take on fishing trips in the midwest and Ontario and have been very pleased with the weather channel reception as well as the AM & FM bands. I just recently tuned in to the TV channels it picks up and was again plaesantly surprised at the reception considering we were away from any major city. I like the "dynamo" and my boys enjoy cranking it so it runs on its own juice instead of the batteries. I highly recommend this unit.
Customer Review: good radio but no adaptor or charging cord Summary: 5 Stars
I like the radio but was disappointed that the cell phone adaptor and the charging cord did not come with it. Instead you are required to send in your registration card and then they will send you the cell phone adaptor and the charging cord. I sent in the card but no have not received them. I contacted customer service but still I have been waiting for 4 months for these items.
Customer Review: Great for the Price Summary: 5 Stars
The Eton FR300 is a good buy for price offered. It seems to be everything that was advertized. Everything works and it will be the perfect radio/light in the event of an emergency. I ordered the cell phone tip for my Tilt cell phone and have not received it yet. Hopefully it is available. Other than that, I am pleased with the purchase.+
Customer Review: Decent quality radio for the money. Definitely for emergency use and not much else. Summary: 5 Stars
This is no hi-fi quality stereo system. It's an emergency radio, which is fairly durable, has nifty features like a flash light and siren, and can work both on batteries and from cranking. The sound is not going to dazzle anybody - once again, this is an emergency radio. Worth the money and certainly good to have.
