I had my eye on this radio for some time, but just couldn't justify spending $30 on it. But after finally breaking down and buying it, I have to say I might even by a second one. This little radio is quite impressive. It's about the size of my hand, but packs quite a bit of sound for it's small size. The FM radio is very clear, weather band works well and the light is bright enough for various tasks. I haven't had a chance to use this radio for an emergency or other event, but it is now packed in my emergency kit, and I am sure it will come in handy when needed. I also plan on taking it camping next summer. This radio is a great buy and I highly recommend for anyone looking to complete their emergency or camping kit.Customer Review: My Father Was Impressed

Bought a different brand for my husband on clearance and it works fine. My father liked the idea of the solar panel for days when he is sitting outdoors and expressed an interest in having one. I saw this one on Amazon and it had the features I was looking for - the crank, solar panel, an emergency light (and good reviews). When he opened it on Christmas, my father immediately gave it some cranks and turned it on. He was very impressed with the sound considering how small the radio is. He definitely likes it and will make good use of it this summer to listen to the ballgames, music, and talk radio.Customer Review: Amazing little radio

Works as advertised and far better than I expected for the price. I plan on picking a couple up as gifts for this Christmas, they're that good.
The radio even sounds nice from that tiny little speaker. Tuning is easy and I have no problems pulling in every channel that I expected.
The light on it is very nice as well.
My only complaint, and it's barely a complaint at that, is that a rubber or flexible whip-type antenna would probably be more durable. As always, there's a fear of "snapping" it while retracting it.

This radio has an amazing compact size - easy to take just about anywhere. It has great reception of radio stations and weather channels, multiple sources of power/ways to charge it, and a nice little built-in flashlight too! Not to mention, it can charge your cell phone too! (Eton offers a free cell phone adaptor - you'll get it quickly if you register the purchase on their website and give your cell phone model.) This radio works well. It has a crank to generate charging power for the radio, LED light and mini-usb output. Who cares if it doesn't completely charge your cell phone with four cranks. You'll be using this in emergency situations and glad you have it. If you have a mini-usb charger phone, like most are today, you'll need to buy a mini-usb to mini-usb cable.
It also has a small solar charger on top which should help keep it charged during the day.
Get one. It could come in very handy.
