The Grundig Satellit 750 is now available. Forget the negative comments.This is my third shortwave radio and by far this one is the best .I really like it very much.I had my doubts after reading the other reviews. The owner's manual is easy to understand but could include more information. A listening guide is a must to help identify stations .It's a nice radio .The overall reception is good .The control knobs are on the small size and the volume knob is on the left .Other than that I am well satisfied with it as a shortwave listener.

Great radio. I do not know about the battery life because I have it pluged into 110 outlet. I really do like the sound and AM/FM reception, which will not come in well or at all with my cheaper radio's in my stucco walled and tile roof office. I will make note: even my cell phone will not work in my office. I have not tried all the other Bands until I leave Calif and arrive in South Dakota this summer where the reception is really bad.Customer Review: Great Radio

I had one back in USSR more than 20 years ago. It was a great piece of equipment MADE IN GERMANY. These days everything is made in china. However, I have to admit that this radio surpass the old one. We had it for only several days, so I can't say for how long it will last. So far we are happy with it.Customer Review: portable shortwave radio

I must comment that i find this radio all that i expected. there are many reviews of this product. once one becomes more adept at using all the capabilities it becomes addicting. the sound and reception is first rate in all bands. frankly i am also enamored with its appearance.Customer Review: A great general coverage shortwave receiver

This is a realy nice shortwave receiver and also great on AM broadcast and FM.
The sideband reception on ham bands is good, even with the pull up antenna. I believe it is a good buy.
