Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of HDMI Cable 2M (6 Feet)Customer Review: Fantastic- will never spend $$$ on cables again. Summary: 5 Stars
I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered these. You could describe me as an average person who has HD tvs, etc. but isn't big into the tv world. All I knew when I ordered these was that I was kind of burned out of paying $30+ on a HDMI cable every time I bought something HD. So, I decided to give these a try. There is no difference! Now, if you're the type of person who is REALLY into this type of stuff, then yes, maybe you will be able to see a difference. If you're like me however, you will be peeved about how you have been spending big money on a silly little cable for so long. We had a $40 cable hooked from a HD cable receiver to a 40" Samsung 1080p HD LCD, and we switched them for a second to see if we could tell a difference- we couldn't. I purchased two of these cables, and one is to a new HD tv we bought and another from a PS3 to a HD tv- all work great! I can't tell you if it will hold up or not, but heck, even if it goes out in a year or 2, you could buy a few a these before you ever match what the stores are charging for them. I don't think I will have a problem with it however.
Customer Review: Works Great! Summary: 5 Stars
This cable works just as advertised. I purchased them when they were $0.77 a piece and picked 2 up; 1 for motorola DVR, and 1 for a Samsung Blu Ray player. They work perfect for each.
I was actually suprised that they looked and felt better than I expected from looking at the pictures posted. They say HDMI on the connectors, and also say HDMI 1.3 on the cable itself. They have a larger AWG than I expected also.
If I had any quams with them, it would be that they are black. This is not really a problem, and I didn't expect anything but black, but I have them routed through the tv stand itself. When I connect them to the TV, and had to disconnect them to do some other things to the TV, I forgot which HDMI cable went to the DVR and which went to the Blu Ray player.
You can solve this by simply labeling the cable on the end connecting to the TV, or you can go to [...], which has many different colors of HDMI cables for a very reasonable price.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would do it again without hesitation! Buy this now!
Customer Review: Worked great for me and saved money Summary: 5 Stars
As for HDMI, there is no need to purchase an expensive cable. They all send the same 0's and 1's. Sales people suggest buying the expensive cables if you are frequently plugging and unplugging them into the components since more expensive cables have a sturdier construction to help aid wear and tear. Even then, you can still buy 10 of these HDMI cables for much cheaper than 1 expensive cable. If an HDMI cable were to break, there would be 9 backups. HDMI cables have a HUGE profit margin, so places like best buy make most their money off accessories since TV's and other electronics offer a much lower profit.
Currently this HDMI cable is connect to my PS3. I have not had one problem with the cable and definitely worth the price. While using my PS3 for games and Blu-ray movies, there is not been one problem with the display.
Keep in mind they charge shipping and handling for each cable and doesn't qualify for Super Saver Shipping (they have to make money somehow) which still is a good deal. I think these cables shipped from California (where I live) because I got them in 2 days.
Customer Review: Don't spend extra on HDMI cables. Summary: 5 Stars
First of all, as many people already know, there is no reason to spend extra on HDMI cables since the less expensive ones work just as well. This has been proven time and time again.
And it is true, these HDMI cables work perfectly fine and give you the exact same picture and sound quality as a $100 Monster cable. I bought two of these cables and since shipping and handling is charged per cable I decided to buy one cable from one company and the other from another. I bought one from Bargaincell and the other from Eforcity. For anyone that is wondering, the cable from Bargaincell got to me a day earlier (both companies are based in California) than the one from Eforcity. I don't know if that will always be the case, but it was for me.
Strangely enough the two cables weren't exactly the same. The one from Bargaincell was a little thicker (better insulation?) and the end fits a little tighter in my PS3's HDMI input socket.
In any case, I have a Monster HDMI cable as well and I can confirm that these cheaper HDMI cables give you exactly the same perfromance.
Customer Review: UNNNBELIEVABLE HDMI Cable Summary: 5 Stars
I have to tell you--this is the best thing I ever bought. I had just the regular coax cable (the screw-on thing with the wire in the middle) and was getting an "OK but not great" picture on my Vizio 27" TV. I plugged this HDMI cable in to my Verizon FIOS cable box and then to the TV, selected HDMI for the input, and got BLOWN AWAY! The picture looked as good as on the display model at COSTCO.
COSTCO has similar cables selling for about $25 each, and I have seen HDMI cables in other stores and online for as much as $100. DON'T BE FOOLED into buying a high priced HDMI cable! This is the biggest bargain on Amazon.
If your HDTV does not have this HDMI cable, buy one. The difference in the picture on the HD channels will astound you, and even the non-HD channels will look better. I am going to check with my family and friends to see if their HDTVs are using an HDMI cable, and if not, I'll get one for them.
P.S.: I generally don't write reviews--like, who cares? But this: I had to review it when Amazon asked for feedback. Thanks for reading.
