Look, I'm one of those people who would prefer to have a fancier looking cable. I bought some fancy cables (for cheap) off of ebay and when they finally arrived they didn't work on my PS3 or one of my dvd players. I bought one of these cables to try it out and voila...it works with anything I plug it into and looks great. I'm totally one of those people who will pay a little more for better quality but to be honest...I don't notice any difference in the quality of the picture or sound on my PS3 for gaming or blu ray movies. I'm comparing this with a monster cable I paid too much for a year ago when I bought my plasma. THE QUALITY OF PICTURE RESOLUTION AND SOUND ARE THE SAME if they're any different I'd have to have some stupid tech instrument to pick it up because it not noticeable otherwise. The only difference between these and cables that are higher priced is...LOOKS of the cable. Go ahead pay more for the same quality with just fancier looking cables but I'll be buying these cables from here on out instead of getting suckered again. Also I've found great cables on Monoprice but you have to pay shipping.Customer Review: Simply Amazing For The Money

Why would you spend over 25 dollars for this cable? I don't know but I'm sure you have before. We have all gone to your near by electronics store to purchase the specific cabling you need for your particular setup and decided on what you want but right before you can grab it and get on with your day someone in a Blue or Red shirt come out of know where and offer some advise. Before you know it your looking at gold plated "miracle" cables that work like Magic. Sorry to say I used to be one of those guys except in a suit and tie and selling cables that no ordinary Joe could afford. I will be straight up with you, there is no difference between those 100 dollars + cables and this "cheapy". HDMI is a digital signal so it isn't degraded over either distance or impeded due to shielding or what they call "quality". Instead it is sent via digital coding "binary code" and is either there 100% or not at all. Same with a toslink or optical cable. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU HAVE A 500 DOLLAR OR 5 DOLLAR CABLE. Trust me.
Also food for thought; this is the cheapest spot on the net I have seen yet so don't hesitate.

I got a new flat screen TV. Big upgrade over my conventional tube TV. The manual recommended I use a HDMI cable to connect for best results. So I headed out to Best Buy and other stores to get a HDMI cable. I was shocked to find that the HDMI cables ran from $60 to $150 and more. No way I was going to pay that price for a cable. I got on the net and researched. Found a number of sites that said don't buy HDMI cables at retail stores, get them from the web much much cheaper. Same cable quality, if not better, but a hell of a lot cheaper.
I ordered my HDMI cable (6 ft., would have preferred 3 ft.) from here for $3. No kidding, just $3.
I installed it and have been using it for over a month now. I love it.
JFYI.. Before I got the HDMI cable, for convince it was recommended to me that I use the RCA component connection instead. After I got the HDMI cable I got curious and tried out the RCA component connection. Using the RCA component connection the picture quality was slightly down. More importantly, changing channels had a delay time of 2 seconds which was VERY annoying.

Ordered this cable after conducting research and reviewed previous feedback. I ordered this cable along with my PS3.
I was a little skeptical considered the bargain price of this cable until I connected my PS3 to my Viewsonic LCD TV with this HDMI cable - and it worked! My Viewsonic TV detected the new PS3 on the HDMI interface and everything was just "magic"! My Viewsonic automatically configure the optimal display to 1080i, it's so easy.
One note to take, once I loaded my Call of Duty 4 game into the PS3, the display mode was changed to 720i - it's because the game itself was not developed to display at 1080i format. I have not put a Blu-ray movie in yet, but I am sure that the movie will be displayed at 1080i.
The only thing I wish is that this cable can be longer - something like 10 - 12 feet!
In any case, why pay $50 or even $20 if you can just pay $5 (including shipping and handling) to get the same results? Sometimes it gets me to wonder the profit margin that the name brand cable makes. I am happy with my purchase decision here.

I need HDMI to connect my PS3, and 2 HD 1080P Tv's to the HD Cable Box.
I first bought 2 of these cables from the 'Eforcity' seller 2 months ago.
Then I bought 1 from the "Abacus" seller when i got my PS3 last week. i realized that the cables were different (which i figured would be). The Abacus Cable was great, gave clear 1080p clarity and the PS3 acknowledged that the cable was 1080p.
The Eforcity cables sucked, I didnt realize it until after i got the new cable and saw what true 1080p was. The Eforcity cables were only capable of producing a 1080i signal on my ps3 and HD cable (the ps3 acknowledged that the cable was only 1080i). Dont buy Eforcity, Im going to order 3 more Abacus ones right now. Im not even sure how its possible for a HDMI cable to not produce 1080p, even the 1st verson of HDMI (1.0) was supposed to support 1080p. Eforcity cables are deffective.
HOWEVER, even tho the cables sucked, and if they dont take a refund, i only lost like $8 for both. MONEY WELL SPENT!!!! i'd rather buy 3 cables and only 1 work then buy 1 $50-80 cable.
