They work perfectly at a fraction of the cost!
This is my first time with HDMI cables, and I was surprised that they were packed with plastic protective caps on the connectors.
The only hitch is that I didn't realize I had to switch from analog to digital sound on my cable box-- at first the set was silent. A quick call to tech support, reset the box to digital, and now the sound is clear as a bell.
Note that you don't have to set time, date and language with digital cables, the info comes from your cable provider.

After looking at the prices of HDMI cables at Best Buy ($80- $120)I decided to look on line. A review on CNET indicated there really wasn't any difference between cheap and expensive cables for digital applications. I got mine from Eforcity on Amazon and they are great. I don't understand how they can be so cheap but they work just fine. Someone must be really ripping off the public with their high prices. I personally like Best Buy, but get real! Anyway, great product, great price and delivered as described. I have used Eforcity twice since this order.Customer Review: awesome for the price...beats expensive ones!!

So our friend told us about the HDMI cords and how he paid like 30 bucks at an electronics store for his and that we should get one...Since im a cheapo and wont pay a price like that, we searched around and realized what an idiot he was for paying such a rediculous price. we paid i think like 6 dollars and ours work just as good as his and dont look junky or anything. this hook up works really well and everything is clear. I bought this cable to use with my PS3 on my brother's HDTV since I was low on cash it was an affordable option. We were not disappointed, the difference was immediately noticeable. It gives you a High Definition picture with a cost unlike any other cables you could find. I'm not sure how long it will last, I'm sure as long as you are not pulling on it or kinking it, if you just plug it in and leave it like you're supposed to then it should serve you well for a good while. I bought four of these cables, along with a very 3 to 1 switch (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E2E4T6). I have had zero problems with any of my components: Xbox 360, upconverting DVD, and HD cable box. I run them through my HDMI switch to the one connection on my TV and everything works great.
You simply can't beat the price and you get a great product to boot. If you have any problems the company is quick and courteous in resolving any issues.
It's cheap, it works, buy it!
