I used this cable to connect a Playstation 3 to a 40" Sony Bravia. At 1080p, the picture is perfect. There are no distortions in the picture or problems with any individual pixels.
It's hard to judge the quality of the materials without taking the thing apart but there's nothing noticably poor in the manufacturing or material quality of the cable. It's pretty plain looking and less attractive than the higher-priced cables but who cares?
When you consider that it gives you the same result as a Monster or Belkin cables that cost 10 to 20+ as much, it's clear that you're getting a lot of value per dollar with this cable. And yes, it also implies the opposite with those higher-priced cables.
My only complaint is that shipping was $1 more than the price of the cable. :-)

I bought these cables with some with some doubt based on the price. I ordered five of them just to see how well they would work. Don't let the price fool you, these cables are very very good. I have a LG HD 1080p TV/Monitor and everything I hook up to it using the HDMI cables look AWESOME. I hooked my HP laptop to it and the picture, video, and audio quality is very good. Today I bought a Playstation 3 and used this HDMI cable, and the picture quality is breath taking, especially when watching Blu Ray.
The other cables out there that range from $9 to $100 are pretty much all the same, all you are paying for is the name brand. I priced a 6' HDMI cable with gold plating at Wal-Mart and it was $18, paid only $0.87 for these 10' plus shipping. I highly recommend these cables!!!!

If you are wanting video quality that matches that of any high-end HDMI cable, you found the right one. The physical quality of the cable is honestly a bit lacking, but it does what we need it to do without a fault. Mine hasnt failed on me yet (only bought it in February) but I have read reports of these cables failing after a year or so? Even then, you get a very good deal. $5 for a cable that does the exact same thing that $50-$100 cables do. You cant beat it. Lets say this cable fails in 6 months time, you could still buy one every 6 months for 5 years, and still be on par with what it would cost you to buy a high-end cable, and that high end cable just might fail between 1-5 years.
Theres really no loss here except for physical quality of the cable, and brand name.

I ordered 2 of these hoping that they would work, but figuring if they didn't I'd only be out $15 (including shipping) When I initially connected my cable box to my television I had no sound! I was so upset. I restarted my box, turned the tv on and off, connected it to a different port, everything. Didn't matter, no sound. I tried connecting my XBox, and the picture was great and there was sound! So I knew the cables weren't the problem, nor was it the tv, so there was something up with the box. Called Time Warner to see if they could help me, and it was the simplest solution.. Change the audio output to HDMI. Duh. They work great. Picture looks great, sounds great, I have no complaints! I have purchased 7 HDMI cables from this vendor and cannot tell you how much I brag about these cables. I have been running the first 2 i bought for over 2 years now and can't tell you how happy I am. I just ordered another one today because I won a new 360 in a madden tournament last night (yes i won the tourney :) ) I have HDMIs for 2 different TV's a 1080p 600hz 50" Samsung Plasma (which this will be the third cable hooked up to this tv; 360, PS3, HD cable box) and also have 2 cables hooked up to my 1080p 120hz 32" LG LCD in my bedroom and must say these cables have stood up to every challenge. I have convinced so many people to not buy cables in the stores and to only buy from this vendor.....Best vendor on amazon.....super fast shipping, keep up the good work!!!
