Customer Review: No Brainer

This isn't really a review, since I haven't received the cables yet, but I just purchased 2, 6'cables from Best Buy for $60. They work great, but I wish one of them was a tad longer. Rather than drive back to Best Buy, I checked out Amazon and saw these... I read the reviews and doubled my order... Just in case one fails. If you do the math, you'll realize you can buy dozens and still be ahead... Might even sell the spare to my neighbor and bring my cost to zero:)
Update: 6 months later, and the cable has been working perfectly. I've changed my rating to 5 stars. Over the past couple of months, I've upgraded my surround system and have unplugged and re-plugged the cable dozens of times to access the back of my tuner. I've had no issues of any sort. Since the first cable worked perfectly out of the box, the second is still in its wrapper... Truly a no brainer.

I bought 4 of these HDMI cables from Eforcity because they were priced at an unbelievably cheap price and I thought to myself, well I have nothing to loose because if it doesn't work I'm only going to be loosing $2, but on the other hand if it turns out to work then that'd be splendid. And to my surprise all 4 of them work just brilliantly. They work flawlessly and without any glitch or problems with transfering high end audio/video. Infact I've been using 2 of the 4 HDMI's I bought on a 24*7 basis since I have it hooked up from my first monitor to 2 other LCD screens for a triple monitor setup, and so far I have not had any problem with it at all! So if you're looking for a good quality HDMI cable with what looks to be one of the cheapest options around on Amazon or anywhere else for that matter, then look no further than Eforcity! Don't know why I spent so much on the more popular name brand cables in the past. I use it for a PS3 and for a Blue-Ray player. I purchased a Sony HDMI cable from a local wal-mart for $49, when that cable was damaged during some furniture moving, I decided to shop on Amazon and purchase these Eforcity HDMI cables just to try...know what, I don't notice any difference between the quality of the video images through the Sony cables and these. From what I've learned, with digital signals, you either have the signal or you don't...There really isn't a middle ground with digital signals like you do with analog audio-video signals where even things like dirty terminals can degrade a signal.
I don't consider myself a videophile, but I can appreciate sharp video images on screen. And these cables in my opinion deliver identically to the more expensive stuff...

So, to the half wit at the local audio video shop that says his $[...] cables are so much better than cheap cables on the net, your High School education is not the equivilent of a double E.
Do not let others naysay these cables. I'm a broadcast engineer. I do know that the less you pay for gear with equally good performance, the smarter you are. This holds true for speaker cables also. I laugh at those who say that one cable of a certain gauge is any better than another with the same gauge. Yes, speaker cables may require larger gauges for longer distances or for larger power consuming speakers. Rest assured, however, the major improvement(s) you think you're hearing with those ridiculously expensive speaker cables is the same crap the guy at the local audio video shop spews about his $[...] HDMI cables.

i ordered this cable from eforcity January 8th for my HD-A3 HD DVD player and i must say it is nothing but a quality cable. HDMI which stands for HIgh Definition Media Interface is well worth the money but you shouldn't be paying over 20 bucks for a cable just to watch the High def proggramming or Blu-ray/HD DVDs. I highly reccommend this product although it is shipped in a sealed plastic bag with a shipping code on it to ensure it has been shipped and to check the status which still hasn't been updated when i just recieved it a litter less than an hour ago (january 20th). but for the money i highly reccommend this cable if you are using blu-ray or HD DVD players. becasue like mentioned in other reviews your HD tv recieves the signal faster if not at all and in a far better picture . Than those componet cables which only broadcast in 480P
