You can not find this item in any stores at all, but Amazon has it. Works great. Great price. I am using it at a cottage up north in Michigan on well water. It is pretty quiet compared to any other model that has a cylindrical pad and fan like some of the cool mist styles. I think I will buy another one to replace my old warm mist one at home too. When purchasing warm mist ones you must be careful because some advertisers will lead you on with high capacity gallons. This one actually holds 2.7 gallons of water so there will be less fillups per week. Some other adds say 4 gallons per day output, but that is misleading to the purchaser, because when you look at specifications, if you can find them, you will see that the unit might only hold a gallon of water. This means that to get 4 gallons per day output, you will be filling the unit up 3 to 4 times per day.
