I used to sell home theater equipment ten years ago and while I was there, the Energy line was introduced into our store. At the time, they had wonderful margins, so we sold the heck out of them. However, it wasn't that difficult because after just a week or two, we all realized that Energy offered the best speaks for their price point. It was a real pleasure to guide people to less expensive speakers and having them A/B them with speakers double the price and walk away with the Energy speakers.

Fast forward 10+ years and I'm in need of a new set of speakers for my computer room. I instantly sought out Energy speakers and I can still say that they offer the best quality for the lowest price. Unfortunately they don't seem to be able to compete in the marketing department like Bose and the others, so still very few people actively seek out the brand, which is a shame.

For the price, look no further.

Energy has managed to outdo itself once again. Legendary in the audio industry for making some of the best speakers, Energy has created the Energy C-100 speaker set; a true jewel. This compact 2-way design is ingenuous, such that it can be placed in a multitude of locations or installations and still deliver incredible sonic results. Thanks to its physical dimensions it can be stand mounted, bookshelf mounted or permanently installed on a wall thanks to its integrated Macromount(TM) insert [Energy Macromount(TM) bracket is required, sold separately]. This flexibility has been integrated into the physical, aesthetic and acoustic design, further demonstrating Energy's attention to detail and functionality. The hand rubbed high gloss piano finish is both classy and contemporary, alluding to the quality of fit and finish. Whether installed as a front, side or surround channel, the C-100 is always at ease. The quality of components used within are second to none, allowing for astonishing reproductions. Easy to drive with almost any amplifier, they are also magnetically shielded so as to not interfere with your television. Their braced MDF enclosures are rigid and resonance free, allowing the drivers to perform as intended.
